Rounders Two. Please Please Please!!!
For many it was Chris Moneymaker (WSOP 2003). For me it was the movie ROUNDERS (1998)!
Rounders for me took a game that I played in bars after doors were locked and shady Philadelphia basements to the Mainstream!
It took me a while to discover the Taj Mahal (1992) in AC (me late 90’s). (The first Billion Dollar Casino and Pre-Cursor to the MGM in LV, and subsequent boom in new copy-cat Billion Dollar Casinos World Wide.)
For a decade the Taj Mahal was the ‘Mecca of East Coast Poker’ drawing Grinders from New York and Philadelphia until Borgata opened in 2003.
