Before their was Poker Books there was Mike Caro in 1979 author/contributor/editor to the First Real main stream Poker Book “Super System”
Before odds calculators and online apps Mr. Caro flipped cards and counted outs by hand to develop the very first real odds tables (which are every bit as accurate as today’s computer generated calculators).
Before YouTube and Twitch streams Mike was putting out easily accessible how to videos.
Before Online Personal Poker Trainers and advice sites Mike was holding seminars across the country.
Before thousands of online poker Vlogs there was Mike in 1998 and a website www.poker1.com (someone must have beat him to plain “poker”.com)
There is nothing in the Poker Ecosystem today that Mike Caro has not done in some form first and decades ago. And like all things true Mr. Caro’s wisdom stands the test of time. Poker1.com may not have the flash and polish of some of today’s best known websites, but there are buried game-changing nuggets of wisdom!
